Our courses are fully accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and HWSETA, ensuring that each qualification meets South Africa’s highest standards for occupational training. Whether you’re entering the care profession or looking to refresh your expertise, our programs are structured to prepare you for meaningful, compassionate service — both locally and internationally.

Entry Requirements & Enrollment Process
At Grove CarerEvolve Academy, we are committed to ensuring each student is prepared for success. To maintain high standards in both theory and practice, we follow a structured enrollment process and require certain minimum qualifications.
Below you’ll find everything you need to know — from academic entry criteria and interview details to assessment fees and payment options — to help you begin your journey toward becoming a skilled and compassionate care professional.
Entry Requirements

Grade 10–12 or NQF Level 3 qualification

Course Structure
Course duration is specific to each course:

OC: Home Based Personal Care Worker - 10 Months

OC: Home Based Personal Care Assistant - 5 Months

OC: Home Based Personal Care (Refresher) - 5 Days
Payment Structure

OC Home Based Personal Care Worker:
R22,000 (Deposit R11,000) - 3 x Monthly Installments: R3,666.66 (by 25th each month) -
OC Home Based Personal Care Assistant:
R11,000 (Deposit R5,500) - 3 x Monthly Installments: R1833.33 (by 25th each month) -
OC Home Based Personal Care (Refresher):
R3,500 (Deposit R1,500 and R1,500 before course commences) -
Note: Full payment is required before practical placement. If delayed, a 30-day extension is granted. Continued non-payment will lead to course cancellation.
Assessment & Interview

Assessment Includes:
• Oral self-introduction
• Written motivation test (English communication & reasoning) -
If test is failed, one rewrite allowed
